I'll pop by and read your sites from my work but wont be able to post anything, (They may catch me using my PC for things other than work if I do) so keep making me smile with your writings and see you all soon x

Oh and a big kiss for you Chief X

No Words Needed

And that's the way it stayed

Balloons

My brother has been up for the weekend from Plymouth and we spent Saturday afternoon at the balloon fiesta. The weather wasn't bad but it was too windy for the balloons to take off so we had to be content with just seeing a few blown up on the ground.

I've been to the fiesta before, but this years was the biggest I have seen. There were far more stalls selling far more different things than in past years and the fair ground rides were the scariest I have ever seen. I did go on one but kept my eyes closed tight all the time I was on it. Of course my 8 year old niece loved it and she wanted to go on nearly all the rides there. I think I am going to have to toughen up by November. We're off to Florida for two weeks and I know she will be wanting to go on everything there.

This one went so fast you could hardly see who was on the ride....no I didn't go on it.

My brother and his daughter looking forward to the ride starting

Trying to stand upright.... a bit like me on Friday night

This one made it

So many people....bad news for the ladies wanting the loo...how come the gents never have to queue?

Is It Only a Game?

Celebration after Plymouth score.

Plymouth missed a great chance to win their first match of the season. After taking the lead in the 35th minute, an own goal left the match at a 1-1 draw.

Plymouth will have to be on their toes on Tuesday. They take on Colchester, at Layers Road, who will still be trying to prove they deserve the promotion they earned last season after coming second the their league.

Colchester's first match of the season was against relegated premiership team Birmingham City. Birmingham had a man send off and still managed to win 2-1.

After just watching the Coventry/Sunderland match I think Argyle will have their work cut out when they face these two teams. I just hope Sunderland's defence stay asleep for Plymouth's match next Saturday like they did during their match today against Coventry.

Off to watch Derby v Southampton now. Let's see if Southampton's new signings can make a difference to their game.

Not The End of The World - Just The Beginning of The Season

For the first time in ages I managed to watch my team play in Bristol. My daughter and I were all ready to watch a game that was full of goals and we both looked forward to the celebration drinks afterwards.

My God, how we were disappointed.
We ended up trying to drown our sorrows in a large glass of vodka at our local, still wondering how on earth Bristol Rovers could have beaten Plymouth Argyle, and Rovers being dressed in pink too.

I think if you take a look at the pictures we took of the match you will know as well as us how it happened.

Where are the Argyle players?

One of the few shots Argyle have at goal

Well the new season starts this Saturday and our first match is at home against Wolves. the last time we played them Plymouth won 2-0, lets hope we can do the same this time around.

Come on you Greens!!
