Flexible Spanking

I've just decided, after watching 'The Secretary' that my job is quite boring really.

What happens if I get a spelling wrong?

My boss corrects it for me.

What happens to me if I make a wrong decision?

My manager tells me how to do it differently next time.

I think I need a much firmer boss.

One who can take control.

One who isn't afraid to show his strength and power over me.

On second thoughts,

I do like my job and the flexibility I have with it.

I do like to have the freedom that most jobs don't offer.

Maybe I'll think about changing next year.

For now I think I can put up with a boss that lets me think for myself.

Cats, Dogs, Clothes and Cupboards. Not a Report in Sight

Why is it that when you are in a hurry to do something, everything around you gets on your nerves, even the cat, who decided to attack the dog. Mind you I don't blame him, the dog was even winding me up, crying because she wanted attention, when all I wanted to do was finish these reports that I was suppose to do over the weekend.

I know what you're thinking now 'Why leave it till the last minute?' Well that's just me. I always find something better I could be doing like, washing every single bit of clothing we have in the house and then ironing it all or sorting out the cupboards in the kitchen, when they were only sorted a month ago. I have to confess, writing reports at home in my own time is one of my pet hates. I know I can claim the time back and take an extra day off, but that's not the point. Home is for enjoyment and work is for work, the two should not be mixed.

Anyway I still have one report left to write, yes I know I should have been writing 'it' instead of writing this but this seemed a lot more fun.

Apologies Needed?

This time last month Plymouth Argyle were 7th in the Championship League now they have dropped to 11th. Southampton, on the other hand, were 10th and have moved up to an impressive 5th place. After just watching highlights of the Southampton/Hull game on TV I've come to the conclusion that they are playing a lot better than Plymouth and their placing is deserved.
On saying that, this is just a sticky patch Argyle are going through, after all you can't be good all of the time, and I'm convinced they will be back up nearer the top before too long, they could even get to the playoffs if they can recapture the form they were showing at the beginning of the season.
I was going to apologise to Southampton supporters for my last post, but I think that would be a bit too premature, so I'll save that for another day, not that I think I will need to.

Well done Southampton, but not for long

Well I suppose I have to give credit to Southampton. They have managed to go higher than Plymouth in the Championship. Well done and good luck for the second part of the season, I have a feeling you may need it.
At the pub tonight I got talking to a guy who had 4, yes 4 favourite teams. His first was Bristol Rovers. Now that must tell anyone reading what kind of a guy he is, a loser. His second was Bristol city. A little better than Rovers but still not quite there. His third was Cardiff. When he told me this all sorts of comments came out of my mouth about sheep and the Welsh and then a friend of his said , ' he's from Wales' did I looked bothered? You guessed right. No way.
Well his last team was Man U. anyone who has a crap first team supports Man u so that don't count.
I think I will stick to my beloved Plymouth Argyle and only have one true team which I support and have only positive thoughts about. One day we will get to the premiership but now is not the right time.
