Lyrics To Remember

When I listen to music I always try to listen to the lyrics, sometimes this is impossible as I can't understand a word that's being sung.
Anyway I thought I would copy some lyrics from songs I have heard and liked and mean something to me or someone I know.

The Best Days Of My Life
Your whispering girls said don't be a fool
don't give into him
He's an animal
treat you like dirt then he'll turn you in
You two are not compatible
It'll never never last
They said I wasn't even suitable
But you're giving me honestly
the best days of my life

Don't Stop Me Now (so like my dad used to be)
Don't stop me now, I'm having such a good time I'm having a ball.
Don't stop me now, if you wanna have a good time just give me a call
Don't stop me now (cause Im havin a good time)
Don't stop me now (yes Im havin a good time)
I don't want to stop at all

Three Times A Lady (one that reminds me of my mum)
Thanks for the times That you've given me
The memories are all in my mind
And now that we've come to the end of our rainbow
There's something I must say out loud
You're once, twice, three times a lady
Yes you're once, twice, three times a lady
And I love you
I love you

Some Of Us
Heard you today, that isn't my name, you were fast asleep,
forget what he did, can I be the kid for your soul to keep.
Some of us laugh, some of us cry,
some of us smoke, some of us lie,
but it's all just the way that we cope with our lives.

Cannonbal
Still a little bit of your taste in my mouth
Still a little bit of you laced with my doubt
Still a little hard to say what's going on

Still a little bit of your ghost your witness
Still a little BIT of your face I haven't kissed
You step a little closer EACH DAY
Still I can't SAY what's going on

Seems Like A Long Time
War time is only the other side of peace time
but if you've ever seen how wars are won
you know what it's like to wish peace time would come
And don't it seem like a long time
seem like a long time, seems like a long, long time

Reason To Believe
If I listened long enough to you
I'd find a way to believe that it's all true
Knowing that you lied straight-faced while I cried
Still I look to find a reason to believe

Everytime I think of some lyrics I have to listen to the song and this is taking forever so I'm giving up here and going to bed.

Now only one more decision to make, What shall I listen to in bed?

I am an anarchist
Don't know what I want but
I know how to get it
I wanna destroy the passer by cos I

I wanna BE anarchy!
No dogs body!

Anarchy for the U.K it's coming sometime and maybe
I give a wrong time stop a traffic line
your future dream is a shopping scheme cos I

I wanna BE anarchy!
In the city

How many ways to get what you want
I use the best I use the rest
I use the N.M.E I use anarchy cos I

I wanna BE anarchy!
THE ONLY WAY TO BE!

Is this the M.P.L.A
Or is this the U.D.A
Or is this the I.R.A
I thought it was the U.K or just
another country
another council tenancy

I wanna be an anarchist
Know what I mean
And I wanna be anarchist!
Get PISSED DESTROY !

My American Friend Tom who is a dude likes this one. It's called I'm a Bear in a Lady's Boudoir.

"You may talk about your colleges, fair Harvard and old Yale, all the universities who's banner's brave the gale, all the football players., the glory and renowned. I never went to college, but I know I've been to town. I may not be a football player, but I'm a star with a beautiful girl. You never see me in the thick of a fight, I do my scoring mostly at night. I never tackle any dummy, I've played from near and far, no I ain't, no I'm not a football hero, but I'm a bear in a lady's boudior.

They play football on the gridiron, where the ground is rough and hard.

I do my playing on the dival, the ladies all say I'm a triple-threat man.

I never have to call for time out, for I'm always up to par.

oh I ain't, no I'm not a football hero, but I'm a bear in a lady's boudior.

I never fought for alma mater, because she never fought for me.
The boys get a letter for not playing rough, I should get an alphabet for doing my stuff.

I'm pretty good at centre rushing, that's the place I really start.

Oh I may not be, I'm not a football hero, but I'm a dog in a lady's boudior."

Good huh ?
